Description
AIR:
- Air is filtered through a ULPA U15 absolute filter (99.9995% MPPS efficiency) or HEPA H14 filter (99.995% MPPS efficiency), in accordance with UNE EN 1822, and is delivered to the work area at a velocity of 0.40 m/s ± 0.05 m/s
- 100% exhaust air, no recirculation.
- The air expelled to the outside is filtered by a dedicated ULPA U15 or HEPA H14 filter, in accordance with the UNE EN 1822 standard.
- The work area maintains laminar flow conditions with ISO Class 3 or 4 air purity (according to ISO 14644), depending on the model.
CONSTRUCTION:
- Work area and work surface constructed of AISI 304 stainless steel. The work surface is equipped with a 4000 ml sump for easy cleaning and liquid collection, featuring a drain valve for cleaning. Optional: AISI 316L
- Front glass panel with butyl/neoprene/EPDM gaskets, and an opening that allows for the occasional entry of large materials.
- Rubber end seal to ensure watertightness.
- Side airlock with UV and double interlocked doors.
- Microprocessor-controlled cabinet with updatable FLASH memory and external display for easy visualization of the cabinet’s control parameters (speeds, flow rates, plenum pressure, exhaust barriers, humidity, temperature, etc.).
- Easy-to-use 7” touchscreen controls white/ultraviolet lighting, internal power outlet, gas valve, parameters, and side SAS.
- Fluorescent and UV lighting.
- Operating voltage 220 V, 50 Hz. Maximum current consumption 6 A (approx. 1300 W).
- The cabinet comes standard with UV light and LED lighting; 110-220-volt power outlet depending on customer needs. The UV light has a timer.
- The interior includes UV lighting; 2 IP 55-rated 110-220 volt electrical outlets for 1,000 W each (total 2,000 W).
Information and Control
PLC capable of recording laminar flow velocity data, barriers, and error alarms at the control level.
Work area equipped with an air velocity sensor, enabling real-time monitoring.
Automatic adjustment of air velocity.
Independent control for gas solenoid valve.
Easy operation
7-inch color touchscreen displays the chamber parameters in real time, in a clearer and more dynamic way.
Audible and color-coded indicators that intuitively and quickly improve the user’s experience and interpretation of data and alarms.
New feature to connect and integrate gas valves with their solenoid valve from the control panel, if these accessories are available.
Programming of daily decontamination via ultraviolet irradiation, with defined start and end times.
The system has been designed to track the number of hours of use and the estimated remaining lifespan from the factory, to provide this information to the user.
Safety
Internal interlock function: UV lamp and front window; UV lamp and fan; white LED light; fan and front window.
The UV lamp will not operate while the window is raised.
Permissions for user roles on the unit: administrator, operator, or technician.
Configurable startup password—prevents unauthorized personnel from operating the unit incorrectly.
Timer function: automatically sets the start and shutdown times for the chamber and the operating time for the UV lamp, fans, and outlets, reducing the unit’s startup time.
Shutdown memory function: after power-up, the unit returns to the state it was in before shutdown. This is indicated by a visual alarm.
Maintenance / Cleaning
Monitoring and adjustment of filter clogging to minimize replacement costs.
Front filter replacement to avoid disconnecting the cabinet from its ductwork.
Plenum system—quick-release design allows a single technician to replace the filters. Consequently, this reduces unit downtime due to corrective maintenance by 50%.
One-piece work area (walls) with rounded corners to prevent particle buildup, making cleaning easier.
The integrated design of the operating area facilitates disassembly and cleaning.
Ergonomics
Lighting control system—allows the user to adjust the intensity of the white light to suit their work, reaching a brightness of over 1,000 lux. Optionally, UGR <16 (Unified Glare Rating) LED lighting can be installed instead, providing lighting comfort during use, preventing glare that causes eye strain, and creating a visually pleasant experience.
Ergonomically tested, thanks to a noise level below 55 dBA—lower than the 65 dBA required by regulations—and vibration performance below 5 µm (rms)
With its glass design featuring an incline of up to 10°, it allows for better visibility of the interior.
Stainless steel armrests integrated into the cabin and removable from it.
The cabin is separate from the table; optional configurations include:
- Standard Support Table—with lockable casters that allow for all working positions.
- Height-Adjustable Electric Support Table: the working height can be adjusted and customized according to the equipment’s dimensions.
